Description of this training:
The so-called "limit" or "borderline" structure is a personality or narcissism disorder. It is a psychopathology that is widely used today. However, it is not a "catch-all" diagnosis. The clinical semiology of this disorder, closely linked to the evolution of our society, was initially established by Otto Kernberg and Heinz Kohut in the United States, and then by Jean Bergeret in France. Some patients exhibit significant affective insecurity, intolerance to frustration, and hypersensitivity, even to the point of intolerance to frustration. Their relationships with others oscillate between so-called anaclitic dependency and aggressive manipulation that generates rejection. The inner emptiness, depression, and intrapsychic conflicts are regulated by violent acts, abrupt and sudden breaks, suicide attempts, ordeal behaviors, and substance use. We will explore the etiology of this disorder, its clinical semiology, and then its management.
